Hi, I'm Sylvie a lighting consultant and designer in Sevenoaks. I am firm believer that light is the most important thing in our life. It affects the way we live, our mood and the perception of our surrounding. I also believe that each of us has the right to good lighting.
We live in a world that is so oversaturated with products and things that the choice of the right light doesn’t depend by its size, colour or shape anymore but mainly by the effect a lighting product can have on our emotional state and can make us feel happy in our own environment.
Light is a magical tool! It can transform homes in a positive way, it can make us feel happy, safe and relaxed. You have it wrong and a sense of sadness, uneasiness and anxiety sets in.
How I work.
Every space has key lighting requirements (general lighting, task lighting, accent lighting, etc.). I assist clients to create a unique lighting experience. This means finding the light fittings that are able to enhance interiors and bring a home to life, to provide the correct light for practical purposes, to set zones and points of focus, to create a feeling of warmth and intimacy. It is my expertise to appreciate the lighting needs of each space in tune with my client’s needs and feelings and to ensure that my bespoke lighting solution works perfectly for the desired lighting effect.
